The latest Witcher 3 console patch (1.04 on Playstation 4) has been out for about two days now, and the performance boost is rather impressive. Camera movement is smoother, making navigation in interiors notably better (although far from perfect). Frame rate during combat is particularly impressive. I actually found myself increasing the difficulty because of the improved control responsiveness. Even Novigrad during the heaviest thunderstorm runs at a relatively solid 30 fps. There are still minor dips here and there, which are to be expected, but the difference between the latest patch and the previous versions is night and day. CD Project Red has done a superb job in addressing player complaints. The Witcher 3 has already earned incredibly high scores across the web (we gave it a solid 10), but it's even more beautiful and immersive after the patch. What do you guys think? Has the patch fixed most of your issues and concerns with the game? Let us know in the comments section below!
