This may be one of the most exciting news in weeks. Capcom has officially announced the Mega Man Legacy Collection, which will include faithful reproductions of the original six titles, as well as a new Challenge Mode and a Museum collection filled with various artworks from each entry. As far as remasters go, this may be one of the most exciting packages since the MGS collection. The collection will be available this summer for Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC, and even Nintendo 3DS later this winter. It's a little odd that there's no mention of a Wii U version.
Furthermore, Capcom has confirmed they'll be providing more details on the upcoming Street Fighter V on June 15th. SFV is powered by Unreal Engine 4, so you can (hopefully) expect a dramatic increase in visual fidelity. Are you guys as excited about the Mega Man collection as we are? The only downside is that the collection will be a digital release only. This is pretty sad news for video game collectors like myself, so hopefully there will be a physical release at a later date, similarly to the recent Resident Evil Revelations 2.
