We have some good news for you European gamers out there. A sequel to 2013's Toukiden: The Age of Demons is headed your way. Scheduled for an exclusive release on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on March 27th, Toukiden: Kiwami will be continuing right where The Age of Demons left off. Villages have opened their gates to offer sanctuary any humans who can find their way to them. Our hero and a new cast of companions must do everything in their power to free the world of the Oni's (demons) control.
The game takes place in a world inspired by Japanese history and culture, with 300 characters based on on both real life and fictional people. With this new chapter in Toukiden's story, you are able to utilize an extensive character creation mode, wield a number of different weapons--all of which you can reforge and upgrade to suite your own personal Oni slaying needs--and a killer a multiplayer mode. So instead of relying heavily on NPCs to fill your party, you can bring along your friends. Because if there is one thing that can save the human race, it is that they all stand together.
