Halo 4 Leaks: Microsoft Takes Action

With just a month until its official launch, it appears that Halo 4 has been leaked all over the internet via sites such as BitTorrent, for pirates to illegally download and play much earlier than anticipated. Though for those who thought they had gone and got their paws on the game and could play it without a problem, it seems their fun may have been short lived, and their decision to download it rather rash.

Microsoft have begun to stamp down on gamers who have illegally downloaded and attempted to play the game online, by sending them a account suspension e-mail that basically states that their Xbox Live account has been banned, and that they will permanently be blocked from the service. It appears that a permanent block is the price gamers who tried to get their paws on Halo 4 will pay for the illegal action. So for those who have been hit, it's time to ask themselves, was it really worth it?

The pirates however seem to be retaliating, by posting countless videos and screenshots of in-game play, especially from the campaign, on various social sites, such as Twitter. With spoilers and footage being revealed by the hour, it seems Microsoft needs to work fast to combat this action. What do you think of the illegal spread of Halo 4? Share your thoughts below!
