Atari 40th Anniversary

June 27, 2012, a very special date indeed! World's most beloved and recognized publisher Atari celebrates it's 40th Anniverary! For 40 years and with over 400 games under their belt, Atari has given us some of the industry's most significant and genre defining titles. 

My first memories of video games ever date back to Atari's Centipede and Asteroids. Atari games influenced my life before I could even tie my shoes. Over the years, Atari has stayed true to their roots, providing fan favorite blockbuster franchises on every major console, including online and mobile platforms.

In celebration of their 40th birthday, Atari has a "40 Giveaways in 40 Days" sweepstakes. You can check out their Facebook page to win T-Shirts and other Classic Goodies. Atari's latest games include a circus themed puzzle-platformer titled Circus Atari and we see a return of our favorite crawler in Centipede Origins.
